Jam Workshop

Find out about the process and history of one of the oldest recipes in the world, in a workshop that promises to show you the process of making jams, from picking the fruit to making this traditional jam.

Casa da Ínsua's jams have been produced since the 18th century on its 3 hectares of Bravo de EsmolfeGolden and Starking apple varieties orchards. In addition to apple jam, raspberry, pumpkin, strawberry, pear and tomato jams are also produced at the Doçaria, among many others, delicious to accompany a wide variety of desserts and traditional dishes.

 

The workshop includes:

  • Monday to Friday, except holidays

  • Booking at least 7 days in advance is advisable

  • Children up to the age of 4 are not allowed to participate in the kilning process and are not allowed to enter the production line
