MONTEBELO HOTELS & RESORTS ANNOUNCEMENT

Carefully monitoring the evolution of the epidemic situation in Portugal and the renewal of the State of Emergency in Portugal, as well as taking into account the new restrictions and measures imposed by the authorities, Montebelo Hotels & Resorts has taken several decisions regarding their hotels in Portugal.

Montebelo Hotels follow the recommendations and indications of the Direção Geral de Saúde [National Health Board] and of the World Health Organization, ensuring strict measures of protection and sanitation of spaces, including rooms, suites, apartments, lobby and reception areas, as well as outdoor spaces, guaranteed by the “Clean & Safe” seal by Turismo de Portugal [Portuguese Tourist Board].

Thus, were implemented the internal measures, such as:

• Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting;
• Implementing exceptional procedures for access and circulation within hotels;
• Specific training of employees for proper compliance with standards and proper use of personal protection equipment according to the function performed.
• Reviewed check-in procedures to minimise the time of presence and contact at the Reception;
• All key cards are disinfected by the hotel receptionists;
• An alcohol-based disinfectant solution is available at several points in each hotel.

Recommendations to take into account during your stay:

• The use of face masks is mandatory when in closed spaces, but the client can choose whether to use the mask in other spaces, when it is possible to maintain social distance;
• Keep the recommended safety distance of 2 meters;
• Frequently wash and disinfect your hands;
• Avoid touching your face (or the mask) with your hands;
• When sneezing, cover your nose and mouth with a paper tissue or with your elbow flexed.
• Only one person per reservation should go to reception to pick up the key and collect essential information;
• Temperature measurement of the guest during check-in;
• We recommend payment with credit/debit cards;
• Please inform us if you require room/apartment cleaning service during your stay.

Following the new measures in force in Portugal to control the pandemic, as indicated by DGS, our guests will be asked to present during check-in the Digital Certificate of Full Vaccination or Recovery, or a negative test (PCR valid for 72h, antigen valid for 24h or antigen self-test performed on site), during the period in which such measures are in force in the country.
